Dr. Ankit Mishra

Director (Academics)

Dr. Ankit Mishra is Director (Academics) at the institute and has been a professor of technical, research, and tourism subjects at RIG Institute for the past fifteen years. He holds the Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Tourism Management, a Master’s degree in Tourism Management, MBA in Human Resources, M.Tech in communication technology from Gautam Buddha University, and PhD in Underwater Communication systems from a state university.
He has served as an academic counselor, examination center superintendent, and Coordinator of IGNOU since 2013. He has also worked as a network engineer and served as a visiting faculty at various IHMs. Additionally, he is the inventor of the “Aquatic Bio-optical Communication System” and has many patents and research publications. He has been awarded with “Excellence in Education” and “Best faculty” awards in the field of tourism.

Dr. Dheeraj Sharma

HOD-Hotel Management

Dr. Dheeraj Sharma is the HOD of the Hotel Management in institute. He is PhD from LPU University. He is PGDM from AIMA and Graduate from IHM-Jaipur. With over 18 years of professional experience, including a decade of international exposure, he has been associated with globally renowned brands such as Royal Caribbean International and Hyatt Regency New Delhi, along with leadership roles at Indage India Limited. His leadership enhances student placements, employability, and industry readiness, while fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and global professionalism at RIG Institute.

Shruti Gupta is the faculty and HOD in the Department of Computer Application. She has more than 10 years of teaching experience in Computer Science and Information Technology. She is MCA from IGNOU University and ‘A’ level diploma from NIELIT in computer application. She is passionate about delivering quality education and simplifying complex concepts for students.

Chef Bharat is culinary chef in the institute. He has started his career with country inn and Suites and Park Plaza in New Delhi and later as CDP in “The Suryaa, New Delhi. He has expertise in Western cuisines, specializing in Italian, Spanish, French and Mexican. He depicts a very good knowledge of Medditerean cuisine and Western regional cuisine. He is an enthusiast of Arabian and Oriental cuisine.
